the postmaster general cannot pull the plug on programs for saturdays, only congress can. the national association of letter carriers is fighting back and calling the postmaster general to step down, he told the nation today saturday postal delivery will be a thing of the past starting on august 5th. it is simply too big of a cost savings to ignore. today congressman danny davis a former postal worker himself reminds union members that lawmakers have until march 27th to intervene. if congress ultimately makes the decision, that is what the decision is but i don't think it should be made by the postmaster general, or the postal service with as meaningful as it is to the american people. >> mostly sadness out on the
